Nectarine 'Goldmine'

 A vast range of fruit and nut trees are produced by Allenton Nurseries. Apart from the new and currently popular varieties, an ever-increasing range of 'Heritage' varieties are also offered to clients. These include old varieties of both eating and cooking apples. Some intriguing varieties of old cider apples with wonderful names such as 'Slack My Girdle' are also stocked. Old Plum and Pear varieties are produced.

Of especial interest are the new health promoting apples such as 'Hetlina' and 'Monty's Surprise'. They are reputed to help in preventing cancer.
